The 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix will take place in Mogyorod which is a small traditional village in Pest County, Hungary on August 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be the 11th round of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship season and it will be held at the Hungaroring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The twisty and bumpy nature of the Hungaroring circuit makes overtaking very difficult in dry conditions, the circuit is nicknamed “Monaco without the buildings” for this reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mercedes driver Hamilton won last year’s Hungarian Grand Prix and he was followed by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing and Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas, who finished second and third respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Verstappen is sitting at the top of the 2021 Drivers’ Championship standings having been forced to retire in the most recent race which was the British Grand Prix on July 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The race was won by Hamilton with Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Bottas finishing second and third respectively in Silverstone, England. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hamilton and McLaren-Mercedes driver Lando Morris, who finished fourth at the British Grand Prix, are placed second and third respectively on the 2021 Drivers’ Championship standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leclerc says Ferrari will continue to do their best until they start winning races ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe team is doing incredibly well and I am very proud of the team. Of course it is great to have these types of races it cheers up everyone,” Leclerc said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is a lot of work done so it shows we are doing something right and that we are working in the right direction. So we need to keep going like this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt won\u2019t be a smooth ride until we get back to the top but we will give everything.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Red Bull Racing-Honda are placed at the top of the Constructors’ Championship standings and they were followed by Mercedes and McLaren-Mercedes respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
